Sagittarius A* is a repetitive and ever-changing composition that transcends norms. The synesthetic and minimal rhythm of light and sound allow us to enter a state of trance. It expands our senses through glitch aesthetics, dysfunctional beauty and a black and white palette. Within the liminal time and space, care and attention blossom. Moments of endless transformation defy definition, inviting observers into an undefined realm. Sagittarius A* becomes a meditative journey through constant flux, where every instance is a canvas for exploration and redefinition. Sagittarius A* is the black hole behing the Milky way.

Author
Livia Ribichini (1994, Rome) is an artist and set designer.
She has a background in Scenography (Academy of Fine Arts, Rome, 2017).
Ribichini started her career by making lighting installations and studying the interactions between the viewer and the physical space. She completed a master’s program in Media, Art, Design and Technology (Hanze University, Groningen, 2021).
Her research reflects on the diversity of identities between users and avatars in the virtual and physical world. She experiments with sensations, perceptions, new media, and technology.
