Impact is an interactive installation based on Stefano Sbrulli's reportage on mines for the extraction of raw materials in Peru. The installation aims to reflect on the impact that our society has from a social, environmental and economic point of view and on all those aspects that we often tend to underestimate. Entering a room, people will find themselves in front of a small pedestal with a mobile phone resting on it and, in the back, a projected screen with "stock" or advertising footages that sponsor the object itself. The more people get closer to the pedestal the more the projection will be distorted and glitched going to reveal the video and audio recordings made in the mine of Cerro de Pasco in Peru. The physical approach to this technological object wants to be a way to reflect on what lies behind the production of many of the electronic devices to which today we seem to no longer be able to live without.
