Concept
The Digitalatium project aims to promote Young Artists from Lazio by placing them in an international context through a project developed in two phases: the Exhibition and the Tour. The project seeks to disseminate Audio Visual Digital Arts within a cultural offering context where such productions are increasingly desired by operators, artists, and the public due to their growing quantity and quality.
Digitalatium aims to deepen the understanding of new artistic representations expressed through a hybrid art that utilizes digital tools while drawing on major themes of traditional art, showcasing its numerous variations and styles through a broad and curated program that appeals to diverse interests. The activities included in the program are:
– Audio Video Performances
– Interactive AV Installations
– Videomapping
– Workshops
// Audio Video Performances
Audio Video performances represent an experimental narrative technique applied to performative video, creating simultaneous sounds and images in real-time, where traditional cinematic parameters expand into a broader concept.
// Audio Video Installations
Audio Video Installations represent a hybrid art form closely linked to experimentation with digital technologies, introducing participatory involvement from the viewer, configuring as an environmental work that must be physically traversed, visited, or touched rather than merely contemplated frontally.
// Video Mapping
Video Mapping is a technique that transforms every video projection into a unique performance, utilizing architectural features and reshaping the space hosting it.
// Workshops
Workshops are dedicated moments for deepening themes and tools related to digital and audio visual arts, serving the dual purpose of bringing together and involving interest communities and providing agile training tools.
The project “Digitalatium Audio Visual Digital Art Exhibition + Tour” is produced by Flyer with the support of the Regione Lazio as part of the Lazio Contemporaneo project.
